세계의 영자신문 목록 - 좀 더 다양한 시각을 위하여

 

 

인터넷 시대에 우리는 세계의 거의 모든 나라의 신문을 안방에서 클릭 몇 번으로 손쉽게 볼 수 있는 세상에 살고 있다. 하지만 우리들이 선호하는 것은 미국, 영국 등 세계 열강들이 펼쳐 내는 세계이다. 좀 더 다양한 시각을 갖기 위하여 제 3 세계 나라들의 신문도 살펴 보는 것은 어떨까?

 

단, 유의해야 할 것은 비교적 언론의 자유가 잘 보장된 나라들과 달리 그렇지 못한 나라들의 신문들은 정부가 운영하거나, 정부의 통제를 받으므로 언론 본연의 기능인 비판이나 보도의 사실성 등을 담보할 수 없다는 것이다. 중국이나 러시아를 비롯해 독재정권이 장악하고 있는 제 3 세계 나라들의 신문기사를 곧이 곧대로 믿어서는 안되리라 본다.
